You have a Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based image that supports DirectDraw and Windows Media Player. You define a custom four character code (FourCC) code format in DirectDraw. You try to play a file that is encoded by the custom format. In this scenario, the video render filter cannot use the color format to render video frames. The Pocket Media Player can now play videos in Windows Media 9 format. A WLAN stack was added and the setup of the connections was made easier. Windows Mobile 2003 SE from March, 25. 2004 for Pocket PCs can switch over the display contents between the portrait and landscape format and displays up to 480 × 640 pixels.

Windows Ce 6.0
Windows Embedded CE 6.0 was released on November 1, 2006 and includes partial source code. The OS currently serves as the basis for the Zune HD portable media player. Windows Mobile 6.5 is based on Windows CE 5.2. This is short clip showing how to adjust media player and quick walk through windows CE on media-nav.
Media player for Windows CE 3.0 machines?
The main problem as could be expected is players - the version of WMP bundled in ROM is pathetic (hey, it was the year 2000...) and drops frames on mp3's larger than 160kbps. A player called Xaudio works perfectly with the --a-p-s encoded files I've tried so far, however I'd prefer it if I could get an AAC, MPC or Ogg Vorbis player.
It seems to me that the StrongARM 206MHz SA1110 CPU should be able to handle AAC...
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find such a player, which is why I'm posting the question Has anyone heard of such a beast?
